Their division is and has been freaking trash for a loooooong time. Yes they have been good but having a shite division helps out a lot.

Every year, they trade down or out of the first round, not up.

Do you realize the saints division may be the worst ever? It didn't help.

really? really? i mean, the Saints can't even win 8 games in the worst division in NFL history and you bring this up?

Beginning with the 2003 season, the Patriots are 57-15 (.791) against the 3 other AFC East teams.

In that same 12-season span, the Patriots are 93-27 (.775) against everyone outside their division.

93-27 regular season record OUTSIDE of their division over the past 12 years.
