Told our youngest this year and he is 9. Think our oldest was 9 or 10. Basically they have questions plus others telling them at school.

I found out from other kids at school when I was 10. Almost threw my mashed potatoes on Bradley when he told me that. frick you Brad.

I would hope my future kids don't find out until around 10 or so. I remember those nights being a wee boy too excited to sleep cause I wanted to catch Santa.

My brother told me when I was in kindergarten

My oldest is in sixth grade (the youngest in the grade-skipped kindergarten). We know she found out this year, but we are acting as if she still believes because we can tell she wants that "one last Christmas". I'm guessing we have "the talk" in the next week. Her older Brother and sister asked us not to because she is so sweet and they enjoy the whole charade. Makes me sad, the passage of time...

Mine oldest is nine.. He questions but we provide answers that are open ended regarding the spirit of Christmas. I'm not really sure what he believes but we want him to have faith in intangible ideas. So to answer your question, not sure if ti believes in the act of Santa Claus but hopefully the spirit of why there is a santa Claus

My oldest is in the 6th grade. We THINK he is second guessing Santa but we are not saying a word. We will wait until he asks questions.

Really? 6th grade? Cmon..he HAS to know Santa isn't real by then. You know how much he would be teased in middle school if others thought he still believed? Kids that age are ruthless.

I still have 1 that believes and I've never actually admitted it to my older kids. When they ask I just reply by saying "do you get excited the night before Xmas or when you wake up and find a stack of presents? Then Santa is real (the spirit of Santa)" They smile knowing I'm full of shite.
Corny, but that's how I roll
