Dimples
Last time I went was in 95, so my option may not be available any longer.

that casino. Isle of Capri? Man what a shitty place
It really is, or was when I visited years ago. We call it the low roller casino. It reminded me of the casino Eddie took Clark to in Las Vegas Vacation.

It doesn't strike me as a place full of old money. It seems really small. Now, savannah, charleston and other places, sure. But, not natchez.
At one time, Natchez had more millionaires per capita than any city in the country.

You may be talking about The Kings Tavern or Cock of the Walk, but they are both shut down now. Some of the antebellum homes have decent food in them like Dunleith or Stanton Hall (Carriage House), but I like Roux 61 and the new Hibachi Grill that just opened. If you like really good Italian, then I would recommend Pearl Street Pasta (best house dressing I've ever had BTW). A lot of ppl like Lil Dagos, but I don't care for it at all (Pearl Street is waaaaaay better)

Dimples is still there I believe, but I always preferred Biscuits and Blues.

Thers a lot of em still around holed up in their little palaces in the bluffs, seething and scheming about how they can drive what's left of the middle class out of their little antebellum paradise.

So, what's left is either poverty or old blue hair inheritance.
That and a ton of retirees is pretty much all that's left there

Start out at bowies definitely. From there you can go to dimples or doc big loves. Best place to eat is definitely roux 61 but if you don't get there early you will be waiting. Kings tavern was recently reopened as a restaurant but I haven't been to it yet.
And the statement about the old money is correct. Once, Natchez was home to the most millionaires in the US but that was a long time ago.

Don't go to Dimples. It's not the same shitty bar it was 10 plus years ago. It's a much shittier bar.
Bowie's or Andrew's to start....finish Under the Hill Saloon. Hopefully JD will return for an impromptu solo of Auld Lang Syne.
Stay downtown, don't venture into Vidalia or Cranfield and you'll be fine.
Enjoy! Natchez can be a blast.

I believe Dimples is closed after having some issues.

Only been to Bowies and Andrews, but I'm permanently banned from andrews so can't go there any more or really say if it's worth a shite in last few years

Really? Hadn't heard. Good riddance.

Yep, if you're under 40, then this is the "youngest scene" in town. If you're gonna do any wandering around in downtown after dark, then stay on the river side of Pearl Street, and don't go any farther north than Franklin, or South than Main.

The camp. It's the new fun place to go

If you do go to Bowie's, the drummer is an Ole Miss fan....give him some shite about it.

Ha!!! There ain't nothing to do in Vidalia, but there's nothing to hurt you either... You are talking about Ferriday... Cranfield, he probably wouldn't be able to find even if he was looking for it with a GPS.
