I consider Pocic a starter as well. He did start the majority of the games. I like him at G much better than at C...we really haven't seen him play at T. Still if Vadal and Hawkins leave, LSU would be replacing 4 starters.
Hopefully E Washington will apply and get a 6th year.
After that, LSU is left with unproven but fairly highly ranked in recruiting type guys. Boutte, Dodd, Malone, Demond, Clapp, and Brumfield plus the new guys in this class. J Austin hasn't done much so far and will be a senior, but I appreciate his efforts.
If three or four of those first six are solid players, it may not be as bad as it looks. All of them have had a year of the zone blocking scheme started by Grimes.
Obviously, if Vadal and/ or Hawkins returns, it only gets better.

I can't fault him. He's had two major leg injuries.

Jalen Collins HAS NOT declared for the draft - from his own Twitter.
Maybe he will and wants to have a big announcement, but he is denying that he declared.
Move him back to unannounced.

None of these guys should come out. None of them are first day sure fire picks. That is part of the reason we went 8–4 this year.
Next year, all of these guys will be drafted higher than they would be this year. And they will be joined by Mr. White, who is a legitimate first day pick. I am sure that the coaches are making these points to them, but the players really need to realize that being like freak is a stupid decision. And being like Collins is the smart play. as a rookie in the NFL, you want to have guaranteed money, a large salary, and a team that is invested in you. none of the guys in question has that going for them going into this draft. All of them have a shot to have that going for them in next years draft. Collins made a killing this year by coming back and should serve as an example to them all.
