Makes a good bit of noise, especially while cold ... got a leak going on too... Noticed the fluid was low cold so I brought it up to right under the high line...ran it for about a minuete ...now the level is a good half inch above full ...pulled the cap and it's bubbly ... any idea what my most likely issue is ?

Could be a busted hydraulic hose, a bad rack and pinion or a bad PS pump. Find the leak and diagnose it. Al three are relatively easy to replace of you have basic tools and a set of jack stands. Of not, take it to a shop.

If it's an Accord, there is a defective O-ring on some that causes a leak. I fixed mine for a few bucks. You can find instructions on youtube.

If you had a leak and did not put back in Honda fluid, that is your issue. You can get some at Advance. If you put the wrong fluid in, you need to pump it out and put in Fresh fluid. I did this exact thing and it worked. Hondas are very funny about this.
If you ever have a repair question. lookup "Eric the Car Guy" on Youtube. I believe he does repairs to an Odyssey in some of his videos.

Low fluid burnt up the pump, fix the leak and then replace the pump.

If it is making noise but still working, change the pump. Order it off of Ebay. If not working then you check if it is pumping, if not then it is the rack, that is a bitch to change on a Honda, also pretty expensive. All Honda parts are fairly expensive compared to a Toyota for relevance. I would pump out all the old fluid and then put in new one first. If the fluid is bad, it will be hard to steer as well.
