My vote: whatever class it is where you sign up for the LSU football scout team. You study and work all weekend so that you can get your head bashed in by future NFL players during the week.

The first two Japanese courses were hard. It actually got easier for me in the 3rd and 4th class.

GPU programming with Koppelman was the hardest class I took by far. It's an EE/ECE course.
The hardest widely taken course on campus is probably thermodynamics though.

Cant believe people are saying organic chemistry
Although I never took it, I saw the organic chemistry classes take some of the smartest, hardest working students I ever knew when I was at LSU and reduce them quivering globs of goo.

Same. The thing about that class is that I feel all of them came out with an A (I know for a fact most of them did), yet throughout the semester they were a fricking wreck and studied a good two weeks before any test came into the picture. Made me realize that I should probably stop bitching about basic business classes.

Thermo was my hardest class. All smooth sailing after that.

Biochem major here who took Econ 2030 and thought it was very easy. Set the curve and never studied. Worst thing about the class were my classmates. They would bitch and moan about anything and everything.
Organic isn't the answer either, pretty basic stuff.
The answer lies somewhere in either the engineering, physics, or maybe math department

Econometrics
No man. The hardest upper level Econ course I took was Intermediate Micro. I took all three Econometrics courses and enjoyed them. I heard horror stories about Forecasting but it wound up not being bad at all.

So you're the guy who made sure my 65 wasn't curved to a A?

<-- Design major. The hardest class I had was the one I had to wake up for at 7:00.

While I didn't go to LSU for undergrad, Organic Chemistry was my most difficult class. We had a great instructor but his tests were true tests of your knowledge and he didn't give out grades you didn't earn.
Turns out, the only thing I actually used Organic Chemistry for was when I'd deliberately think about it while trying to hold off on having an orgasm too soon with a new girl.

If I'm thinking of the same woman, her last name was Thomas or Thompson. This was circa 1991. Her tests were brutal for a 1001 level course. I was happy to get out of her class with a B. I recall hearing she was put on probation or something for failing so many students but that may have just been a rumor.
Pretty sure about 5 or 6 years ago LSU had to step in and recalculate the grades of a massive, intro-level science class and canned the professor cause more than half the kids were failing. Maybe that's it? I'm too young to know who y'all are talking about
