Someone told me about this thread, so I went to Facebook and typed a name in. Sure enough, first guess was him.
Guy is a fricking joke. He posts shite like this all the time. He's so oppressed against...
Except that he's gone to private school all his life and moved up to Chicago on his own. Pathetic.

He just wants the notifications. I bet if anyone actually called him out on his "convictions" in person he would withdraw like a little poon

And I said, we said, I said, "Are you Mike Brown?" They said "I'm Mike Brown if you Mike Brown." I said "We Mike brown then."

Here's another one I chuckled at recently:
quote:And his responses to people's comments
Should we even bring kids into this world that already hates them?
quote:
Nah man, this country hates black kids. My kids will be black and I'm not sure they would get a fair chance here. And that breaks my heart.
quote:And someone called him out and said they were raised similarly and his response was:
yall are making sense man. I'm just broken again. I think about this world and how racist it is and I don't want my kids to live in this world. But in inspired and encouraged by yall.
quote:
I appreciate the kind words, but I'm not sure I agree we had the same opportunities man.Up to this point, I have gotten lucky that I didn't end up like Mike Brown or Eric Garner. And my anger and passion come from the fact that it shouldnt be luck that separates me from them. Really nothing separates me from them. If I was viewed highly in high school its bc I didn't have the deeper understanding of racism that I have now and I didnt talk about it as much. I think youre a good dude Brady but I think that good people like you have got to stand with people like me and convince our folks in LA that racial discrimination exists and that police brutality is a reality for many innocent black folk especially Eric Garner and Mike Brown. Further more, if you really do think highly of me you got to take me and others like me at our words when say this-- police brutality towards black people and a lack of justice for black in the criminal justice system-- aren't just things we make up bc we are bored and have nothing to do. I wish I could spend my time on fb enjoying the pics of my friends and laughing at their silly statuses but instead I am confronted with the fact that with grand juries like this me nor my children, nor my black friends and family are really safe. And that's a terrible weight to bear for a country you love.

It really does seem like he was brainwashed after high school. Sad.

How do you grapple with the existential and spiritual question that your black body has no value in the land that you love and your people built? I'm absolutely broken by this. This is black America's dilemma. We are existentially wounded by the verdict but too many of our non black friends refuse to empathize and work with us in our calls for justice . Shame on you if you aren't wounded by the pain experienced by black America through Mike Brown murder.
To our white allies your primary job is to do the work of convincing your white family and friends that our cause is legitimate. We know our cause is legitimate, so we don't need the validation. But white America collectively needs to know our cause is legitimate so they don't make the mistake warned in Jeremiah 6 of calling for peace when the conditions of peace are not met.

Not at all. Honestly was one of the nicest and friendliest guys I've ever met. His mom was a refugee from Africa I believe and volunteered at our retreat .
