This has been said many times before, but never underestimate the power of a bad coach. Malveto for one.
even choctaw would agree with that

He gone and Wilson with him.

if les goes then cam and Wilson go for sure. Wilson will get a salary bump and an extension which together could be worth a couple of million. he gone. all draft eligible players are gone. tolliver, Johnson, Jackson, etc. be gone.
set LSU back at least 2 years. this would waste the talent in 2014 who would be sandwiched in between to avg. classes.

Man...what conjecture.
How about this.
Wilson interim head coach.
Jaluke recruiting coordinator.
Chavis stays DC.
Cameron stays OC.

Don't understand why Wilson would follow Miles to Michigan to freeze his arse off and watch Miles finish his career. Cam is almost certainly the "big name" being hinted at to follow him. Impact on recruiting can't possibly be known without knowing the replacement.

His conjecture is based on nearly every coaching change ever, yours is based on an pie in the sky fantasy. He's absolutely right. The next two years both on the field and in recruiting are huge for the long term stability of LSU. Losing Miles and staff would be a huge blow.

Delusional clowns just aren't gonna let go of that Jim Harbaugh dream are they?

Why is Cam the big name? What's he done to deserve consideration as a "big name?"

Except Miles is not a bad coach . He has an NC at LSU and has put more players in the pros than ANY other coach. Im sure some fans of other schools (cough ,A&M ) would like to stir the rumor pot, right at an important recruiting time, but its not happening. LSU will be loaded for the next 2 years. The QB situation will work itself out. We have no idea what has happened behind the practice fence.Maybe Miles had no choice, you cant motivate a kid that doesnt want to be motivated. the biggest blow to LSU was the jrs leaving early.

Believe it or not, Cam is a huge name in coaching. He had a pretty successful NFL OC career.

In the context of the OP, to Michigan fans, Cam Cameron is the biggest "name" on the current coaching staff.

Miles is a "good" coach. Just good. And complacent with just good. There is no objective evidence of any effort at continuous improvement, repetitive mistakes are not even attempted to be corrected. Complacency.

You totally misread me. I was saying that a bad coach (defensive coordinator) could waste defensive talent. Example: Malveto duo.
