Please call 504-731-1700. You'll get Sean Payton automated message but then hit "2" and the phone will immediately be picked up by a live human.
Thanks
Thanks

I like the siren. Maybe it's a little overdone but not bad enough to actually call about

I like the siren and will call them to let them know, thanks

If we could stop anyone on third down the siren wouldnt be an issue. I only hate it because it reminds how close we are to giving up a 3rd and 4.

It's not just the siren. It's the music selection. Giving up a first down shouldn't cue up "I ain't never scared."

While I've got them on the phone about the siren, I'll tell them I never want to hear the stupid Get Crunk song ever again either.

Noon o'clock update: Just called again from my work number and was told that I'm the 3rd person the girl has talked to about the siren this morning
She has promised to pass all of the feedback along to the entertainment department. I told her that everybody around me in the loge club level was holding their ears and getting pissed every time the siren came on.

I called this afternoon.
Oh, and Jim Henderson just called it "annoying" during his weekly commentary.
It gone.

My dad went to his first game in years and said it was unbearable

When did they start using the siren?
Did they stop using it Sunday late in the game ?

Pretty aggravating. I would much rather Bobby's drunk arse getting the D chant going over it.

It was annoying on tv so I cant imagine in person. Hopefully it will be gone by the time I get there for the Atl game.

About the third home game after the equally annoying train whistle got the boot.
If they want to use something aggravating like that, why not a steamboat whistle? At the least, it's a New Orleans sound. Not that I support it at all. I wish they'd cut out 50% of the noise crap that gets played.

I watched almost all of the Panthers game and at some point they did stop using the siren in the 4th quarter.
But it was to the point where it was getting comical - just spitballing but the Panthers must have converted on something like 8 out of the 10 third downs that the sirens were played.
Anecdotally, I remember a few times where there was a delay before the 3rd down play - maybe a referee verifying something, a reset of the ball, or a timeout, and so the siren played 2 or 3 times before the actual play. And the Panthers would always convert.
The siren has become a doomsday signal - I'd be shocked if it appears for the Atlanta game at all.

It's a little known fact, but we in the Dome have seemingly always known when it was 3rd down, even going back to the 1990's. I'm not sure why we have to be told "It's THIIIIIIIRRRRD down" every time now. Maybe they assume senility is setting in.

Agreed. I don't get trying to manufacture a home-field advantage with bullshite noisemakers when there is already a great crowd presence there.

I think the siren actually limits crowd noise.
