Well, I'd prefer to be in one of the semifinal games...

This is the best possible outcome to try and salvage something out of this shite season.

A bowl-matchup against a (absolute shite perennially overrated shite show) well-known team with a huge (arrogant trash TPOS douche) fanbase.

This game will garner attention.

The time (afternoon) ... not preferred. Primetime would be better.

The location ... not great either.

LSU has nothing really to gain in this game ... other than to do what they should ... which is whip the ever-loving shite out of ND.

This is basically the "lesser team" equivalent of Bama vs. Ohio St.

I would have perfered a different opponent. A new years day game against a different team would have been better.

Do you know what day/time it is yet? Because that is the frustrating part.

Absolutely. Other than Wisconsin and Ole Miss, it turned out to be a pretty blah season. Finishing 5th place in the SEC West led me to believe we'd have slim pickings...remember, we were bitching and moaning about playing Clemson in the Peach Bowl a couple of years ago. We were also annoyed with our matchup against Iowa last season.

This year, we are playing an all-time great in Notre Dame and in a great town. It's something different. I welcome it and embrace it. I would have been fine with the Texas matchup as well, I just did not want to go to Houston again. I'm so sick of the Dallas and Houston games. They are more of a hassle than what it's worth.

I'm looking forward to the NHL hockey game after the Music City Bowl and New Years Eve in Nashville.

Which was justified. However, the Peach Bowl is a much bigger bowl now than it was during the BCS era.

Pretty good opponent but not crazy about the timeslot. But at 8-4, you get what you get.

I'm fine with the time, but I'm also going to the game. From what I gather, the stadium is right across the river from the downtown Nashville bars. It'll be nice to stroll out of the hotel to the bars and restaurants and then walk to the game. You don't have to worry about driving, parking, getting a cab, etc.

Also, we're planning on going to the hockey game that night so it makes the best of both worlds imo.

I live in Houston so that's why I was hoping for Texas bowl. Plus "Texas Bowl" sounds a little more prestigious, even though it isn't.

ND in Nashvegas. After a season like we just had I can't complain too much. Great town! Great traditions!
