f he can't beat out AJ he should transfer to a tech school and begin his second career in wood working.
It's THE COACHES' decision as to which QB beats out the other one.
If Cam/Les won't name Harris the starter, despite what seems an obvious difference in ability, that doesn't Harris is a scrub, it just means this particular coaching staff isn't the right fit for Harris. He might flourish at another school.

And for the love of god, please stop with the "Blake Sims is a senior" argument. The guy had no real experience at QB and had a brand new OC this year. He was very green to start this season.
He has appeared in 28 games since he was a freshmen (more than both of our QBs combined), has had 39 passing attempts and 67 rushing attempts. And no, I won't stop using the Sims is a fifth year senior argument to argue that he has experience. How old are you? Do you not remember how much more mature you were at 22-23 than 18-19?

You're missing my point - which is that it's not rare for inexperienced QBs to start in the SEC
My mistake, I thought you meant that it was not rare for young QBs to come in and be successful. You provided an example of a fifth year senior for the premier team in college football, an athlete that provided a spark for the worst offense in the league, the best HS QB prospect in 4 years, and johnny football, which was 3 years ago. I'm sorry, but those are not good examples and I think they kind of refute your position.

Brandon Harris has already won the starting job. Miles is just starting the loser because he's an idiot.

if harris doesnt start next year, miles should be fired for incometence on the spot, the second Jennings takes the field...I would admit him to psych ward and and liquidate his contract...It would be beyond insane to keep playing him...

If JJ and JL were that bad, why not go with Mett.
The answer is simple for 8 games we had great QB play and should not have been a question, then Les decides to go exclusively with JJ and the rest is history.

Then Anthony Jennings better be a badass quarterback.

I doubt Harris starts next season. We have seen this movie before. Regardless of whether or not either of them improve, Miles does need to recruit potentially strong qb. We can't afford to have such drop off in qb skill like this season unless we want to settle for padding the w column with teams like new Mexico or Sam Houston.

We'll have to hope, dream, wish, pray, etc. that LSU signs Patterson and Franks, since otherwise there is no future at QB.
Also, it would not be a surprise at all if Harris decides to transfer.

yea he's the kind of fan that can't stand Les' poor decision making, his predictable offense and boring game plan. Damn him!

Either of these the other answer is simply idiotic.

Its very disheartening that we are not persuing Juco QBs because the staff is happy with what we have. They must be watching a different game than the ones I saw.

Not everyone learns in the same way...
Harris may be more "kinesthetically" in his learning style and only "hands-on" will get the job done.
In that case, we have missed many opportunities during this year to give that to him.
