I think the exact opposite of OP.
AJ runs the offense perfectly but doesn't have the skill set needed for it
BH runs our offense terribly for a D1 starter, but has the skill set.
LSU is using AJ for this season and getting BH ready for next season.

If BH was the answer, he would have taken the job by now.... it's not that hard to figure out guys.
