I've heard her sit in for Tom. Was shocked at how comfortable and funny she sounded over the 1.2 cagillion kilocycles or whatever the hell he says. Plus she knew her stuff. I'd listen to her any day of the week over him.

Maybe Tom gets his 3-6 time slot back?

I'm not. Granted, I literally heard her once. Didn't know it was his wife at first but then it became clear. I thought she had a lot more personality than he, and seemed to know what she was talking about. Perhaps I didn't listen long enough.

Tom is awesome. Several years back his show was on during my daily commute, and I was hooked on it for quite a while. Haven't caught him lately though. Always enjoyed the show, and always thought about trying the eat club thing - but never did since I'm antisocial.

Download the 3WL app and check him out wherever you are. 12-3 daily.

I like the show ok, but I really liked his daily newsletter. Always good information even his corny daily diary updates, etc.

Bbq shrimp topic today. Interesting take on Pascal's and Mr. B's.

Would you expand on this?

Sure. Tom mentioned the quality of Pascal's bbq shrimp not where it used to be. He said Mr. B's best in town for bbq shrimp.

Most people here would agree.

No question. I've said before that I had them a few years ago at Pascal's and they were simply perfectly cooked beautifully extra large shrimp in unseasoned oil. Awful. I was so disappointed. The oysters rock there still rocked, though.

Too bad. Pascal's was top notch 12-15 years ago.
