Episode Synopsis: Season 3 begins in April 2013 in the aftermath of the Genoa disaster, so the "News Night" team treat a breaking story cautiously, a strategy that could benefit them in the long run. Meanwhile, an anonymous source contacts Neal about stolen government documents that may be related to riots overseas; Sloan tries to solve a puzzle; and Maggie subs for Elliot following the Boston Marathon bombings.
If you're wanting to rant and rave about the OMG LIBERAL politics of the show/writer or about the downside of Sorkin dialogue that has been rehashed a billion times, please do so in another thread so that those of us that would just like to discuss the show like any other normal show thread can do so. TIA.
Anyone else watching tonight? A quick synopsis of where we left off in Season 2.

Watched the first two seasons recently, then rewatched with my wife. Instantly became one of my favorite series. I think it is the most intelligently witty show on television in the last few years. So sad that this will be the last season (and a short one at that). I have no problem separating the politics of a tv show from reality, but as a disgruntled Republican they actually hit the nail on the head for me politically. I didn't think I would buy Jeff Daniels in a fairly dramatic role, but he is awesome. And I instantly fell in love with Emily Mortimer. And Sloan, rather subtly, is one of the best characters on tv.

Interesting bit from the episode...that piece on ACNgage was based on an actual interview by Kimmel on CNN
