I've Never been To a Bama game. Wanna bring my son. What are chances to buy em on campus on Bama day?? I live n Shreveport and no one will hold any till tomm because they worry I won't come thru. I understand the concern? Don't wanna drive n with 13 yr old 4 hours and strikeout. He can't go to bar if we can't find em!?

I've never been to a game where there haven't been tickets available. Even the biggest games.
1. Look for an actual fan selling them instead of the sketchy "entrepreneurs. It's not hard to tell the difference.
2. If you want to live dangerously, wait until just before kickoff, and you may get tickets for face value or even less. If you want to relax and be sure, you can find them earlier, but you'll pay more.
3. There are plenty of bar/restaurants where your son would be welcome (but he couldn't drink, of course.) ETA: Chimes, George's, Pastime are all places you could watch the game if necessary.

100% you get tickets. I've never seen so many tickets for sale to an event like this. seriously. I think the extra 10,000 seats really changed the market this year. But again I'm telling you it is 100% chance you get them and if by some strange reason you didn't , there will be 100's of TV sets you can watch throughout campus at tailgates. Don't miss this event.
