Game Planning/Play Calling Predictions for Bama: What Do We Do Differently?

Every year when LSU plays Bama out of the bye week, the team looks different - especially at the beginning of the game. The only exception that I remember is the 2011 game, but then Jefferson came in because Lee was herp-derping and Saban wasn't ready for him.
What does LSU do differently this time?
My thoughts:
Come out throwing - bubble screens, and passes to RBs as the QB rolls out. Move the chains, get the crowd into it, and get some momentum. Bama will be stacking the box with 10 guys. We pass more than usual with passes that Jennings can make. Then, we hit them with the running game once they begin to react to the pass.
Brandon Harris - for some reason, I think that we might see a package for Harris - a set of plays that he knows and is comfortable with. But, it involves called running plays with the pass option if receivers are streaking downfield.
TEs - this game as a 2010 feel to it. Bama will be favored and LSU's offense is terrible. But, that was Deangelo Peterson's biggest game. Could we see more from our TEs.
Basically, I am thinking that LSU breaks tendency in the first half and tries to get some momentum and loosen up Alabama's defense. The overall tone of the game will be ground-and-pound, but I would not be at all surprised to see the offense operating at a different level.
If we can just execute in the Red Zone. We cannot leave points on the field.

Catch the INTs that are handed to us on a platter is the 1st thing that comes to mind.

limiting turnovers will be huge IMO. I could definitely see another 9-6 game happening

Get the feeling Ole Les has been holding out for this one.

Nothing. Really, what else could we possibly do?

You'll need those, and they'll be productive at times for sure, because

That plays right into the strengths of the Alabama defense. It's the deepest and most talented defensive line we've had under Saban. Nobody has just lined up and ran the ball on us, although in fairness Arkansas is the only team really runs that sort of offense and really tried.

Yes, capitalizing on turnovers and opportunities right in front of us is key.
There is a reason why many DBs are not WRs. Their hands are often horrible.

i noticed that we have a lot of plays where we fake the toss and hand it off for a dive. There is some hidden jet sweeps and end arounds that are being set up.
don't think they will work vs bama though.
Cameron has 2 weeks to prepare...i noticed a much better play calling when we started the game. I would expect a game plan like crowton had in 2010 vs bama.
I actually expect us to pass a bit more.

please don't give the almighty, ever-prepared Saban this excuse. Jordan had been getting snaps in each of the 4 games he'd played since his suspension, and those snaps increased by the game. I don't see why Bama wouldn't be "ready" for him.
I think we'll throw a bit of speed option at them, and then maybe the fake option/ dropback pass they tried in the bowl game.
I'd like to see some occasional QB draws out of the shotgun.

Bama fans say that every single year and every single year LSU runs for 150+ yards and moves the ball on the ground better than anyone else does - except for 1/9/12. That is the only game that Bama really made it impossible for LSU to run the ball.
But, apart from that LSU runs on Bama and has always run on Bama and you probably need to get used to it. LSU will run on Bama again this year. The LSU running game is far superior to the Arkansas running game. This will be the best running game that you have faced. Believe that.

Because they weren't. It isn't an excuse. It was a failure.
The BCSNCG proved that they could stop JJ with the proper preparation. They stopped him cold.

Never said, or implied or anything else, that it wouldn't be.

And again, LSU will run the ball with some success against Alabama. But last year LSU was 107 yards short of 150.

I am just saying that I have come to the conclusion that LSU is going to run the ball on Alabama successfully. LSU might not win the game. Alabama might win by 3 TDs. But, LSU is going to run on them and get at least 150-200 yards - perhaps more. Again, I am not saying that that means that LSU will win, though. It just means that Alabama is not going to stop their running game.

Yards Per Rush:
11/5/11: 3.6 Win
1/9/12: 1.4 Loss
11/3/12: 2.8 Loss
11/9/13: 1.4 Loss

Just remember these numbers....4....33....52. LSU will eat bama's run game alive just wait on it. I don't care what side cooper go on 16 and 21 will cause him to have his worse game of the year. He way to talented to completly shut down but i can't see him with 100 yards recieving. I know these players name but the last 3 weeks i've seen there numbers make NFL type plays on a regular basis.

Go in dry.

Really? So while losing at home to MSU, getting embarrassed against Auburn, struggling against Florida and Ole Miss, you mean to tell me that Les had a plan in his back pocket the entire time just waiting for Bama....
