There is absolutely ZERO validity to any argument to play a lesser player in order to get him experience. You put the best player on the field- period. You do everything possible to win THIS game.

But the only question is: which of these two is the best player today? Harris seems to have the potential to be the better QB in the future. But he has not show it yet in a game and apparently does not play noticeably better than AJ at practice.

So the question is not: Do we put BH in there to get him experience quicker? It is: do we put him in ther because he has the better chance of helping us win TODAY?

Based on what I've seen, I think AJ still represents the best option at QB. But....
If he struggles, I would not hesitate to make the switch and see what BH can do. Both are still open books as far as how good they can be.

What???

With the exception of Auburn (and I'm not counting the one pick against KY), Harris has played very well. So I'm not at all understanding your statement that Harris hasn't shown much during games. I think he clearly has, that's what has the Rant so worked up.

BH doesn't seem to do well when he has time to THINK about playing the game!!!

When he's thrown into the mix, he's better than average and I would put him up against anyone.....but to be great, you must be able to do it knowing you're "The guy".......

BH can't play second fiddle......i mean, hell it's easy to play the backup role.........the backup never carries the "burden", which allows BH to play more free.......the one time he wasn't in the backup role, he struggled......

This is where I disagree. BH has looked far better against State and NMST that Jennings has looked at his best this year. Harris has only looked bad in 1 game Auburn on road and Jennings has looked bad in 3qtrs Wisconsin, Pityful against NMST. 3 qtrs against Florida and not fantastic against Kent. IMO, Both give us equal chance to win now and 1 gives us a better chance in future.
