Let look at an imaginary situation and evaluate possible outcomes.
Apparently with an arrogant and entitled attitude a student had sex with a woman that seemingly changed her mind about participating, failed to appear at a hearing that others did go to and accepted their minimal punishments, borrowed a few crab legs from a grocery store, yelled some obscene comments in a very public place, allegedly involved in a BB gun fight that resulted in broken windows at an apartment complex, generously gave over 2,000 signatures so others could make profit and did so for no gain.
In addition this student has caused a university to become under a federal review and possibly be liable in a civil action suit.
Because of all the students innocent actions two lawyers have been hired to represent the student.
Conclusion:
How could anyone even entertain the thought of dismissing this student?
Wouldn’t it be great if all of the thousands of students everywhere would follow this exemplary model?
