I want the superhero to be a god among men. I never understood wanting the hero to have flaws. The hero should be without any flaws because it should be something we all aspire to.
The ones with flaws. The ones that tread that fine line between hero and villain.
Or, since you described your heroes as "god-like," I like the ones that are better described as the "benevolent demons."

We are polar opposites here. I have not seen Guardians of the Galaxy and really don't have a desire to precisely because it is a group of anti-heroes. Give me the boy scout hero every time.
