Exactly. The guy lives for clicks. I imagine that he post stories, post 5 different links to said story from his twitter, then unzips his pants and starts beating it as he watches the clicks roll in.

Pretty offensive shite right there.

I do agree with the assumption that rich and powerful people do illegal and unconscionable things because they assume that the public is too stupid, apathetic, and ADD to hold them accountable.
And they're right. This is bigger than football.

Literally makes a living off trolling.

Indeed, in many ways it's a more traditional conspiracy since everything Florida State has done has been designed to protect a single star player from the consequences of his off-field actions. At Penn State the conspiracy of silence was more general and less specific. Jerry Sandusky was protected because his association with the program would have had negative consequences if his misdeeds ever went public. Here Jameis Winston has been protected because he's a star quarterback.
lol okay.

I think some of you are too dumb to see comparisons
No one has ever compared the crimes
But the cover ups are both substantial

The cover ups or blind eye to bad behavior are Unexcusable.

You HAVE to compare the crimes. The cover-up and the crime cannot be looked at separately.
Covering up an academic cheating scandal and covering up a murder are completely different regardless whether the vehicles/tactics employed are the same.

Even though serial child molestation is worse than sexual assault, both are among the most horrible crimes.
I know Jameis was never charged, but the university and local police substantially hindered the investigation and made it impossible for any charges to be brought against him
Obviously it's not on Penn State levels, but it's the closest comparison I can think of regarding a university valuing it's football program over human life
Edit: I didn't read the article, but I can see where the comparison is coming from. Even if the author is a troll

Spot on imo. Bunch of dumb fricks in this thread.
quote:Rape of college-aged women, rape of children. Both the lowest of the low.
You HAVE to compare the crimes.

yeahhhh not sure how the situations are that different other than we KNOW kids got messed with at PSU and for years.
only reason I'm hesitant to draw parallels is Winston isn't for sure a rapist.
PSU was much worse and much more systemic, but the concepts aren't too dissimilar.
