I'd like to see Wilson try to keep up the same yards/attempt and QB rating while throwing for 35-40 times like these other QBs (Brees, Manning, Luck) are asked to do regularly.

Imagine if he went the other direction and only threw 10-15 times a game. His efficiency metrics would be insane!

Seattle should consider running the option, so Wilson can really focus on managing the game.

Can you get accurate facts, at least?

And throwing less doesn't in any way, shape, or form lend itself towards better stats.

Do you even football bro? You are saying Brees and Manning having relatively high interception percentages has nothing to do with them throwing the ball more than any other QBs in the league? You do realize higher interception percentages lead to a lower QB rating, don't you? The more number of passes you attempt, the harder it is to maintain a low INT percent and high Y/A.

Do you bro? Rushing yards and attempts are just as important as passing. Why you keep leaving them out?

You said all other elite QBs average 10 more passes per game.

You were wrong.

Like I said, get accurate facts.

So this is the differece between elite and game manager to you? And that is extremely impressive Wilsons first 3 seasons can compare to Rodgers

The only issue that skews it a decent bit is similarly to Manning's numbers his rushing attempts are mostly kneeling which nets him a play and a loss of 1 yard.

Except Rodgers, all the elite QBs throw ~10 times more per game than Wilson.

So Rodgers isn't elite or you intentionally are giving out info skewed in your favor?

It's 1 of the 2.

He has only slung it for 139 times in 5 games because is being asked to 'manage' the offense and not lose it for the team on that side of the ball, because they are so good everywhere else.

so Seattle is really good. got it

I love the "just don't mess it up" quotes. Don't you wish the Saints were good enough that Drew could "game manage"?

They're especially ridiculous when you realize he's 4th in the NFL in YPA last season and the season before, his 1st 2 seasons in the league.

That's the opposite of "don't mess it up", that's go out and make plays numbers.

Saints are actually very good at running. I blame the play calling/Oline for some of brees mishaps.
