Who the hell would want to come coach for these whiny snot nose fans down here?
Miles leaves and LSU will be in a Tenn situation.

More on the Mack Brown to Michigan talk. Traber tells local sports director and former OU quarterback, Dean Blevins, that he was texted from a reliable source that "you know," who said Brown wants to get back into coaching and is going to Michigan.

Y'all know that if he'd leave for Michigan, then we'd have to fight him to keep La recruits on top of Saban and Sumlin..

The earlier the better so we can hire Saban back.

Nick as Head Coach. Cam as OC/QB coach. Muschamp as DC/LB coach. Yaw Yaw O as DL coach/RC. Peveto and Raymond flip flop. Rest of the staff remains the same.

That's the "Alternate Universe" LSU coaching staff.

Isn't there a huge buyout in his contract? Maybe even something specific to Michigan? I remember hearing something along those lines but I'm not 100% sure.

can not confirm ...but I had heard that going to Michigan would be the one school exempt from the contract .. but I heard that years ago and I do not know if it is true or not

...it is not unusual for Head Coaches to exempt their Alma Mater

Thanks for the insight OkieTiger. It is interesting that someone has the balls to report this. Dont know if I would come out and say this if I was a sports talk host without having something definite. Time will tell. Maybe as someone said earlier, maybe that letter to Baton Rouge did mean something. IDK, I guess time will tell.

Michigan needs Miles or a Harbaugh to come back home and save that program.

With that said, some of you guys are going to come to realize what an awesome job he has done down here. The negativity is beyond the pale. I wish we had the national title in '11 but Bama was better than us. It's why it was so special beating them that November 5th. We were better for that night but I told someone we beat Bama 3/10 times if we played them that many times in '11.

Still, his recruiting and winning percentage can never be questioned. He has done it with style and humor. Nobody can really say anything about him personally. The program is as good or better since he has arrived. LSU has more NFL players then any other university and we are a National Recruiter now! Yea, we can get another coach in here but will the program maintain. I for one just don't know if another coach can live up to Saban and Miles? And that's really the point I am trying to make. Miles did it his way, not Sabans, his. LSU is better off having Miles than Saban because he didn't want to be here. Saban left us and many were happy because we were just fed up with everyone trying to steal him in the NFL. His ego is why he is at Bama. We won't ever see the likes of Saban or a Miles in our lifetime.

If coach goes I will wish him luck. I think LSU will be relevant. I think Miles will be successful at a Michigan. The players enjoy and play for the man. How could you not? He turned LSU football into something fun for the fans who got where he was coming from. Saban wasn't fun and when we lost he made everyone miserable fricking miserable! The man was throwing Randal and the secondary under the bus as he planned to fly out to Miami the next week after losing to Iowa, it was shameful! You won't ever see coach Miles do that to his kids because you know he loves them too much. It's not all about him and maybe it is time for a change in Baton Rouge.
