quote:

I will never vote party again...I will always vote person.

The above almost always translates in practice to, "I vote Democrat every day and twice on Saturdays".

I vote conservative because I am a realist:

1) Stealing every dime from the 'evil rich' won't stop people from making stupid decision like dropping out of school, doing drugs, committing crime, or just being lazy;

2) Just because something bad has ever happened in your life or you've "seen things when I was in the [fill in the blank]" doesn't mean God doesn't exist. After all, what makes YOU so damn special that bad things won't happen to you? So many people have a pussy attitude about God. "My dad got cancer, and that's when I quite believing in God." "My best friend committed suicide, and that's when I quit believing in God." It's such a pathetic excuse to stop wondering why any of us are here... for that matter why anything is here.

3) I believe in equal opportunities not equal outcomes;

4) I believe true personal charity is essential to both the humanity of the giver and receiver. It is our personal responsibility to care for the less fortunate. There is a fundamental difference between a Giver saying "I recognize your inherent dignity" and the Receiver saying, "someone recognizes my needs", vs. Government handouts that are pride stealing and soul impoverishing. "Here you go, boy. Now remember who to vote for."

5) Illegal immigration does not hurt me or any other white collar person I know. It does take jobs from the poorest of the poor. The guy sneaking across the border this afternoon won't take MY job. However, he very well might take the job of some legal US resident Hispanic-American on the Texas border busting his arse to raise his family of 5. But since the illegal will work for 1/2 the money and won't complain about bullshite working conditions, our legal friend is going to lose his job. So now we have both an illegal immigrant being taken advantage of, AND a legal resident now relying on the government for subsistence. That's wrong.

6) Illegal immigration (part 2): the legal Hispanic American knows that speaking English is part of his children's road to a better life. But since the illegal 25% of the kids in his children's classroom can't speak ANY English, it's easier to speak Spanish in the classroom... so our legal friend's children are screwed once again.

7) Chicago has the strictest gun laws in the country, and it is a shooting gallery for minority teenagers. Nuff said.

8) Someone was abused or possibly even murdered for the little recreational drug you think is no big deal. bullshite me all you want, some very, very evil MF'ers were involved in getting you your little joint or little vile of blow.

9) Abortion is absolutely one of the most racist institutions in the world. The number of minority kids killed as a percentage of white kids is staggering. And while we're at it, don't tell me you believe in "inherent human dignity" and you're also Pro-Choice. You are either a liar or stupid.
