Wife's B-day Dinner (Nola Choices)

I take the wife out for her birthday (December) every year to one of the great restaurants in New Orleans. So far we've been to August, Gautreau's, Stellas!, GW Fins.
I have a quick list that I put together for this year(see below). We loved our experiences at the above listed restaurants (from the tasting menus at August and Stellas to the great atmosphere and food at Gautreau's and Fins), so please try to recommend something similar.
(No particular order)
Herbsaint
NOLA
Bayona
Brigtsen's
Upperline
Mila
Thanks for your help.

If you haven't been to Brigtsen's, I recommend trying it. It's not an August or Stella etc..., but it's fine food and Frank has been posting a lot of good dishes on Facebook this summer that have made me hanker to return soon. I love the shell beach plate.
Why would you want to do the same thing as the other years? Just curious.

Out of that list I would do Herbsaint.
Brigtsen's is good too.

Have y'all ever been to commanders for her birthday? Not to stray away from your list, but that's what I would want.

I think Herbsaint is head and sholders above the rest. Brigtsen's would be second but not as consistent as Herb.
To throw a few other similar styled places to your list, you might consider the newly renovated Broussards. Revolution is a tad more trendy, but still excellent dining experience.
I'm making these recs, based on the assumption you're looking primarily for a dining experience over a purely food experience.

Herbsaint or Bayona would be my personal top 2 choices. Both are absolutely excellent.
Bayona must order: Sweetbreads
Herbsaint must order: gnocchi

No requests of pics of the OP's wife? I'm proud of the group on this board.

I agree with either Herbsaint or Bayona.
Not to hijack, but Carrollton Market or Bistro Daisy for a birthday dinner? Anyone been to either recently?
