Truck Buying Advice Needed (Ford F150 Of Course)

Gents,
Need a little advice. I've been searching around for used F150's FX4's and KR's with around 30K miles give or take.
Anyway I came across a brand new (5 miles) 2013 KR decked out that has been sitting on a dealer's lot for over 305 days, yes almost a year. The thing I dont know is how is this truck affecting the dealership? Are they paying monthly charges for it just sitting there? Sitting there for almost a year is kind of crazy.
I can negotiate the shite out of car dealers (use 4LSU2's type of negotiating). I just need to know how aggressive my offer needs to be.

You can't offer too low. The worst they can say is "no".

That's my plan I was just curious as to how the truck sitting there affects them on say a monthly basis.
After seeing your truck I'm gonna test drive one this weekend.

You have to be a pawnstar, Start very low. Once the dealer works you up to where you are close to your number, just walk the frick away...

I doubt that they are paying for it monthly. I would imagine they don't finance used vehicles they buy? They might have a reason for not moving it, especially something desirable like a KR.
When I was looking at my previous Tundra, another dealership had one very similar to it. They wouldn't budge on the price because they were a small dealership and the owner used it to pull his boat on the weekends.
I really like my new Tundra so far, but I only have 700 miles on it. The inside is HUGE.

Damn I wasnt clear on the post. The KR is brand new not used. Only 5 miles on the ODO. I found it when searching for used vehicles.

I got in one never drove it yet. Crewmax's are crazy big in the back.

Oh, I gotcha.
With the totally redesigned 2015's about to hit the lots and the fact that it has been there for so long, I would go to TrueCar and offer below the unusually low price and stick to it. Let them know that if they hit that price, you'll buy it today. They like that word, "today".

10-12 off MSRP is a good start to negotiating

Have a cousin in the industry.
They will literally sell that vehicle for anything.
The salesman have to move it. It is the 1 vehicle on the lot that absolutely must go. Their entire strategy is based off of this mindset.
It's the first thing you should do when you step on the lot.
"Show me the truck that has been here the longest"
A lot of dealers offer bonuses/higher commission on these sales because they are penalized by the manufacturer for not moving the vehicle fast enough.

There's got to be a reason that truck is just sitting there with only 5 miles....

Mike, your user name makes me LOL every time I see it. This is the info I was looking for when I call them.

My thoughts at first but with the 2015's coming out and the increase of 2014's that hit dealers, i don't think its too much out the norm. With my offer Ill have them do like a 50K service or something. The thing comes with its full warranty and such so I am not too worried.

It does depend on the manufacturer though.
Like Toyota it's impossible, because Toyota sets the price, not the dealer.
I believe Ford dealers set the price
