Tell me you don't seriously believe that.
Plus, what does that have to do with putting windows over the 6 spots that are covered with cinder blocks?

Believe what? That entire bottom section is a concourse. Putting windows in the bottom level would make that area unbearable.

no one has posted pictures from this angle, but walking down south stadium drive that is all you will see.

seems like they could have at least made the stairs and frames black so it is less noticeable, but who knows what goes through the minds of the decision makers. I think most people will notice the giant white wall of nothing that is next to it first anyway.

Ok , I can understand that... If your concerned about the fan's and heat issues. Hopefully some large top fans can be added to help move to air with a few mist machines as well.

Oh , you may have forgot the fly by's at the start of every home game on National TV. That might expose the white wall to 20 million watching on TV ...

I guess you pulled out the old R.S. Means Estimating For Dummies book on that.

Dude, Those stairs just irritate me.
It's almost like a screen porch, without a screen or like a car without a hood.
You know that can easily be corrected.

Why correct something that's not broken ....

I love the addition overall, but 100% agree that that part needs some work and looks bad as is with exposed stairs and the cinderblock-ed windows.
Above that, looks great!..., bottom two window rows, awful.
No reasonable person could thing the exposed stairs looks good ...just looks "unfinished" when compared to the rest of the south exterior...I don't have the solution, but someone smarter than me that does this stuff for a living most certainly can come up with a more aesthetically pleasing something that doesn't give a beautiful addition a WTF eye sore
Other spots that need work:
-white wall of Baton Rouge
-Lego Blocks inside need some work to blend in better and not look like blocks sitting on top of a beautiful interior addition
On a positive note, those 3 things aside, everything else looks great.

Unless you're a visiting fan or really poor, you won't be going in that side of the stadium.
So who gives a shite?
So who gives a shite?

Jesus Christ... How much more money do they have to blow on this project to make you happy?

Industrial look- I don't mind it.
Airflow > Pretty little windows
Airflow > Pretty little windows

Sooooo, your answer to enclosing a gigantic concrete area with little air movement is giant fans and misters? Your suggestion is to create the fricking Amazon? Awesome.

C'mon man. You're just nitpicking shite.

I'd say most reasonable people couldn't give 1/3 of a flying frick about this.

Yeah, this board has made it clear that no one cares about what Tiger Stadium looks like. Not a soul.
Of course people care what Tiger Stadium looks like. If you don't, cool, to each his own...but if you don't, it begs the question as to why you'd be In A thread about its expansion.

One window where you can see a stairwell = ALL OF TIGER STADIUM
Lol @ all of you drama queens

I certainly didn't. For the record, I did say this:

You're implying that not worrying about the tiniest of tiny perceived issues equates to me "not caring" what Tiger Stadium looks like. Which is absurd.

FWIW, I don't follow you at all. Are you mad that people are noticing a "flaw" in an overall successful and beautiful expansion?
If so, that is not something worth getting mad about IMO.
Most know this expansion looks great, including myself. That does not mean it's immune to some flaws and criticism here and there. It most certainly has a few, most of which LSU is aware of and already has plans to rectify. Those flaws obviously don't bother you, but it seems to bother you that it bothers others....why?
many Tiger fans cherish our stadium and maybe unreasonably want it to be perfect...there's nothing wrong with that desire, unreasonable or not.

Fwiw, with all the bitching that has gone on about the stadium the past few months I have yet to read one single post with a legitimate "fix." The addition is outstanding and LSU hit a home run.
