Prior to 1992, LSU and AU rarely played. The two schools are not traditional "rivals" in that sense. However, since 1992 (and even before in the 80's) I don't think their has been one team on LSU's schedule that has provided more memorable games than AU: Earthquake, Jamie Howard, barn burning, 2 "suspect" calls, missed FGs, cigars, band/player fights, last second TD (literally). While Bama will always be AU's most hated team, I promise you that there is no love lost for LSU.

LSU/AU has long been my favorite game. It's unfortunate that the last 3 in the series haven't been as big as in years past. However, this year should be "back to normal" so to speak.

Oh, I hate them, too. I probably hate Auburn more than Bama, but that's when I went to school, too. But I get a kick out of all y'all trying to pretend that the Auburn rivalry is old. It's not. It can't even buy a beer yet.

My mom doesn't give a crap about Auburn while I despise them. It's sort of reversed for Tennessee. She still won't step foot in that state because of 1959. Which is sort of awesome.
