It's huge, but I can usually get over losses pretty easily. I think 1/9 allowed me to cope with losses better. However LSU's next serious title run may get me just as intense as I was before.

After the loss to Ole Miss in 2013, I said that's it. I cannot be this emotionally connected to these games. They were killing me.

I still watch or listen to all games, but I don't get nearly as up or down as in years before. When I watched the Bama game a few weeks after that Ole Miss loss, I did not give a flip.

Had to do the same with the Saints many years ago. They were just good enough to break my heart every year. When they later won the Super Bowl, I was very happy, but a loss would not have hurt me.
