As a student it consumed me like many of the other posters have said. Going on two years removed from school I don't get as upset with a L.

However, I appreciate Saturday's much more being in the working world. It's sad cause now I'm in DFW and only make it to a game or two a year. School flies by

there are a lot of things more important than LSU Football including LSU baseball

it takes up most of my saturdays as it should, I go to as many games as I can, but if we lose I'm over it by Sunday.

I am probably the biggest LSU fan out there so it means a ton to me.

Don't really understand the people that lost fandom after losing the national championship. We were one of two teams in the game and lost. I am a bigger fan now because I want us to get that championship winning feeling back.

Also, to the people that care about baseball more? Baseball? College Baseball? Seriously? More than football? Heck, basketball is a more important sport than baseball.

A loss will affect my entire week until the next game, and I am reading every bit of info I can about LSU football. It is pretty much all I talk about.

I rewatch the game a couple times and chart plays, and also write mini gameplans for the team we play the next week.

1/9 was the worst day of my life.

Admittedly, I've led a charmed life.

lsu football is my favorite hobby/side interest. i spend a good bit of time and energy on it throughout the year.

i will never leave the baton rouge area for a lot of reasons. staying involved with the lsu community and being in close proximity to the thing i love the most outside of family/career is a major part of that.

I have no wife bc of football. If I did, I wouldn't be able to get a hard on after losing.

My leg is partially paralyzed and I can't wait to fly from California to Houston bc of the game.

Charley's radio show after each home game makes the drive back to NOLA easier.

LSU football is important to me, and it brings entertainment into my life.

I use that word specifically, because it doesn't actually provide anything substantial. It provides fun and enjoyment, and fun and enjoyment are important to me. I want to have things in my life that are positive and fulfilling.

I honestly don't really care that much about winning or losing any single game. But I enjoy the Tigers more when they are successful.

I think life would suck a bit without the Tigers. It would go on and I would still be happy, but my favorite team wouldn't be there. That would suck.

Very big part of my life. I look forward to hearing any news coming out of BR, except the arrests.

In y 20's it was absolutely huge, probably to huge.

As I've gotten older it has started to wane. Now it's just a hobby, wins are great but losses don't sting like they used to. Every fall Saturday is still reserved for football but its more about quality time spent with family and friends having fun.

I guess as you get older you reach a point where whatever 18 to 22 year old kids do on a football field doesn't affect you as much.

It's at least 13 days a year and I make sure I devote myself to watching and supporting my tigers.

It's a big part of our family, tons of alumni and Dad played football there. We get excited.

The name of my boat is Geaux Fish. So many people in the Florida panhandle ask me what "Gee-Axe Fish" means. I have an LSU tag on the front of my picking up truck. I've got probably 15-20 LSU hats but many have been retired. My wife claims to have walked naked in front of me during an LSU game and I didn't notice her. I do NOT remember that! Auburn fans have learned not to call me at half time and brag that they are ahead ('07 game, Byrd with 2 seconds). Gator fans also have learned not to call me at halftime ('07 again).

Yeah, I can't wait for August 30

LSU football is the biggest sports-related thing in my life. If it weren't, why in the hell would I hang out in the cyber-insane asylum known as The Rant?

I am more excited this year than I have been in a while. Wins and losses do not bother me much anymore.
