How big is LSU football in your life?

How much do wins pump you up and losses get you down?
I've learned that I as I get older, I'm much more laid back when it comes to this. I love LSU football but I can't get excited about big cat drills, practice reports, etc.
Don't get me wrong though. I'm pumped for the season.

I used to be all-in...after a win, I was walking proud for a week and a loss really got me down...
after losing the national championship a few years back, I don't get nearly as emotionally invested anymore...I still go to every game and enjoy it all, but I am pretty much over it by sunday afternoon regardless of the outcome....

If you ask my wife my life revolves around LSU sports.....although admittedly she does say it is worse for baseball season....she is right.

I think many many people feel this way.

I agree with all the replies. I go to all the games but am over it by the time I go to bed, Sunday morning at the latest.
I really get as much enjoyment out of listening to the callers on Hannagriff's postgame show

Stable installment of fall plan every weekend around it
Try to get to Death Valley at least once annually but don't go on out of town trips yet
Pretty important

I'm a sports fanatic and it's what consumes me. I'm not to the point of gumps where I will kill rape and pillage. But I love it and am very passionate about college football.

I follow lsu sports year round. I'm pretty passionate about it but at the end of the day their success doesn't define who I am.

Exact same feelings here. I walked out of the Dome that night with a different feeling. Still love it but that changed a lot.

I don't poison things when we lose and I don't rub my nuts on people when we win. I suppose I'm more laid back than some.

1/9/12 changed a lot of people. For better or for worse...

LSU Football is the best thing about my sad pathetic life.

I feel the same way. Recruiting back in the late 90's - early 2000's was so much better. Rivals, espnu, and other services weren't updating you 24/7 and twitter and Facebook have made it insufferable. Not to mention, tailgating when you're younger is just better. Remember when Gameday would pump people up? Now it seems to just alienate people. I don't like modern "corporate" college football to be honest with you. And all of these neutral site games really take the wind out of the sails for me.
