I don't believe Muslims are a politically correct group. I don't see the "liberal" media pushing us to convert to Islam. Even George W. Bush after 9-11 told us that Islam means "peace". lol.

Sure the liberal media is no fan of the religious right or Christian Conservatives and takes every opportunity to go after them, but I don't see MSNBC pandering to Muslims and liberals are just as horrified of ISIS as conservatives.

Not just the media but leftists in general. The same posters who go after christians on here regularly point out that only a small minority of muslims are really really bad and like to cut peoples heads off. When is the last time you saw any of them make the same sort of distinction for christians?


It was the same way during the Cold War when the left embraced communists everywhere.

It's got nothing to do with ideology beyond the fact that the left has always been fascinated with anyone that's anti-western because the left has always despised the notion of the gleaming city on the hill.
