The gulf. right before the bridge headed toward flora bama. cool bar and cool menu. enjoyed it more than cobalt for a cheaper meal.

I went to Fisher's Upstairs at the Orange Beach Marina and it was killer. Will definitely be in heavy rotation for all beach trips.

Yep, Fisher's pretty much kills everything there.

Cobalt/Cosmos have same owner, extremely similar menus except Cosmos is cheaper, tastes better, less crowded and has great happy hour.
2-Oyster Bar under bridge in Perdido.
3-Fisherman's Corner across the water from Oyster Bar or Fishers in OB.
4-LA Lagniappe/Cafe Grazie are not bad
5-Villagio at the Wharf
Hub Stacey's in Innerarity Pt has great lunch sandwiches. Lillian's has good pizza. Everywhere else from Gulf Shores to Pensacola is largely crap. Sunset Grille has some of the best evening views but their food sucks.

Pardon my ignorace, but is this the same Louisiana Lagniappe that's in BR? I didn't know this was a regional chain, if that is in fact that case. I assume it is. I had a couple of meals there in college that I thought were really solid.
I guess it's obviously not the same, but you know what I mean.

Different owners/operators. I believe the FLA people paid the LA originators for rights to brand/menu etc. I would say its a step down from the one in BR quality wise.

Okay, cool. If you're there and you're fishing, obviously that's preferably. But that's not most people. Could be a solid option, though. If it's a step down, though, that's a bummer.

Matis, why is runningtiger after you on the help board?
I haven't eaten at LL in AL in years, but it was only okay then. I'm not a big fan of the BR restaurant either, though. Sort of depends on what you order. I stopped going there some years ago. Might be better now.

Is he? I don't check that out to be honest. He's probably not fond of me because I call him out as a troll/potential alter. I'm not a huge fan of his either, to be honest. Oh well. I'm not worrying about it.
I liked LL for what it was, but if I'm honest, I didn't have access to what I do now. I'd expect it pales in comparison to some of what we get in NOLA. On topic, Cobalt is the most common restaurant I've seen recommended in these type of threads. If I were planning another trip that way Cobalt would be at the top of my list because some posters that are possessed of palates I really respect continue to endorse it.

Second for Sunset Grill in Perdido Key.
Food is heavy on sandwiches and fish tacos, standard quality for the area, but the view and atmosphere is hard to beat. You can sit inside or outside, right on a wide area of the intracoastal canal.

Places I like: Fisher's Dockside (I want to try upstairs eventually), The Gulf, Lillian's, Fisherman's Corner, and Cosmo's. I was highly disappointed in Cobalt. The service was the only positive of that place.
