I'm trying to connect my laptop to an internet connection it hasn't used before. The PC i'm on is connected fine but my laptop is giving me that error message. I've spent the last few hours trying fixes from google searches but have had no luck. Anyone knows wtf is wrong and how to correct it?

Does the laptop have the pre-loaded OS or did you put your own on?
Might be a driver issue.

that does not look like a driver problem error message, do you use DHCP or static IPs?

You're going to need to go into the adapter settings and tell us what you have it set to. If it's on manual and you don't have it like that for a specific reason, you'll want to change it to obtain IP address and DNS dynamically. LINK

If you've already tried to set a static IP and it didn't work I would go to the router settings and reset the DHCP. Depending on your router you might have to release/revoke the IP's.

Go on you PC and open up a Command Prompt. Type ipconfig at the prompt.
Write down your IPv4 address, subnet mask and default gateway under the section for your wireless LAN.
Do the same thing on your laptop.
Post the results here.
