And that's going back to Butch Harmon, agree or disagree?
The swing he had around 2000 was the best he's ever had imo.

I don't know about that BUT I do know that Burch grows some mean trees

In the left lane? Jack's old arse probably drives the speed limit.

I'm not sure Butch could make a difference.
Father Time has caught up with him and today's players don't fear him like they did in his prime.
I honestly don't think he will win #15.

disagree. the tiger from 13 years ago is dead. it doesnt matter anymore who his swing coach is, his caddy, his wife, his mistress, or his orthopedic surgeon. i would be shocked if tiger wins 2 more majors. i will be surprised if he wins just 1 more.

I don't think he gets there either, Harmon isn't a spring chicken anymore also.
I, as a Serge fan won't be mad if he doesn't break it.

His best shot is to pick up his driver and roll with his 3 wood.

I doubt butch would have him back. But I think the swing with glory is too technical for Tiger. It's already know he is a swing junkie and you combine that with how robotic foley tries to make players and it's a bad combination

He has a chance but IMO it's not a good chance

his current body couldn't handle his swing from 15 years ago... hell, it can barely handle the less taxing swing he has now.
TW is done winning majors, IMO... except for maybe a PGA down the road.

He is swinging like butch now. He needs a caddie.

Tiger just has to get more consistent, and I still think that will come with time. He's was swinging more loosely at times yesterday which is a good sign, though he went back to the big cut too often IMO. And I don't think Foley is the reason he's reliant on the cut, it's Tiger. I think he'll start playing a lot better again, and very soon. He's still got at least another major in him, whether he has 5 is another story

Seems to me he has the Rafa Nadal dilemma, which is that he needs the insane amount of practice/reps to feel confident, but insane amounts of practice/reps wear on the body.

I think his best chance is Augusta, he just plays well there for whatever reason

quote:very true. His swing has always been so abrasive. It's a shame we probably won't get to see him competing until he's 55 like some guys do.

I don't think he catches Jack, But The Masters is the Major I would think he can win. IF he can stay healthy.
