I guess it depends on what kind of bug it is too...I'm more likely to just remove a tiny gnat and keep drinking than a big nasty fly. And if it's my 3rd glass, I'm less likely to care.

Several factors need to be determined.

What am I drinking?
How much is left in the glass?

If 1/3 or less is in the glass I toss out, unless the bottle value is greater than $20.

If 1/2 - 1/3 is left in glass, I remove the fly and drink unless the bottle is less than $10.

If greater than 1/2 remaining, I remove the fly and drink unless I know R2R picked the bottle. I then instantly toss the wine.

Dose da rules.

If it's just a gnat I'll remove and keep drinking. If it's a fly, roach or anything else I'm tossing the whole thing.

If a roach finds its way into your beer, you've got problems.

I'm a mix of B and C. I drink outdoors a lot, so gnats in the beer is common. If I can reach, I remove. If not, I just drink up.

I guarantee you they don't care how many little crawley or flying bugs are on the grapes that make the wine.

B unless things are too blurry to see a tiny gnat. Then, it's probably to hell with it and C.

I dig that sumbitch out and spill half or more in the process. Assuming I notice. Which I probably won't. But if I do, I'm getting it out. If I knew it was in there I would be on the verge of hurling anticipating the lump.
