Went there for breakfast & supper on a recent trip..
Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly, atmosphere was relaxed & pleasant.
Went back a day later for supper, absolute different experience all together. The atmosphere was very stiff & unwelcoming, staff was rude & (like you) served apps & first course almost at the same time. I had the turtle soup & really didn't like it. I ordered the tuna & was presented 2 small over cooked oddly cut chunks of tuna. Pork chops were ordered by 2 members of the party & they were over cooked & dry. Our waiter was the biggest asshat I've ever encountered at a restaraunt & was rude whenever anyone asked a question about the menu.
Even though breakfast & the breakfast service were good, I won't be back to that place; too many good places to eat in NOLA to subject yourself
To that.

quote:Yeah, I really didn't understand the purpose of cooking small pieces of fish. The only thing I could think of is that they trim down their dinner size portions to 8oz or whatever and use the trimmings for the lunch special.
