This year?
UCLA.

UCLA is in a prime location, as California in general and Los Angeles in particular are recruiting hotbeds, but they will be the little brother as long as USC isn't screwing themselves up since USC put together that huge run in the 2000s.
UCLA is loaded the next couple years and Mora is doing a hell of of a job recruiting.

You were on that 2012 team? Damn! Must have been a helluva experience.
It really was. Almost as fulfilling as the year before.

It was the OP way of trying to legitimize a national title for Ole Miss. Minnesota was the AP and Coaches National Champions in 1960, with Washington also claiming the post bowl title.
UGA
Clemson
A&M

Ole Miss got the most selections and the only major poll that waited until after the bowl games (the FWAA). It's also recognized by the NCAA. Washington's claim to it is an absolute joke.

Over the next 10 years to win just 1.
Georgia with Richt 15% or less.
Georgia without Richt 75%.
Georgia with Richt 15% or less.
Georgia without Richt 75%.

A&M or Georgia (blech), because they are upper half SEC
then Clemson
then the others
I don't believe Ole Miss could do it without ending up on probation within 3 years afterward.

Georgia is very due and the strongest threat on that list to win a NC, especially with all that Georgia talent

Anyway
UGA

Wanna trade coaches?
Florida's shitty coach? No thanks.
If somehow able to do a coach trade excluding the obvious choice in Alabama I'd not be to mad if we swapped coaches with LSU, Auburn, or hell even Ole Miss. And that is just counting in conference teams.

UCLA ain't winning a national title...
God, it's funny watching all the L.A. outsiders buy into this Bill Plaschke hype who has been dreaming of a UCLA title forever...and declared in 2002, L.A. a UCLA town - right before USC ran off 7 straight Pac titles and two Nattys. Reminds me of the Eli Manning - Ole Miss hype...or even the Peyton Manning UT hype. When much is expected...nothing will happen.
UCLA is UCLA - they always muck it up...the cuddly little bears ever only do anything when they are the total underdog...their forte is claiming upsets...when they are favored or anything is expected of them - they crap the bed.
It's been like this for 50 years. They're the Ole Miss and UT of the Pac-12. When you don't expect shite, they might come out of the blue like Tee Martin...but when everyone says they have blue chip recruits and they have a star QB...watch out, meltdown crap bed time.

most likely:
1) UGA
2) Clemson
3) UCLA
4) Texas A&M
5) Arkansas
6) Ole Miss
UGA has been close a couple times in the last decade. A&M has enormous potential but is in the wrong division. Clemson and UCLA have fairly easy roads to a championship even though neither has a special coach or top five talent on their teams IMO.

From what I have read on here. You are the blindest Biggest USC homer on here. You have zero sense of reality. UCLA is way better than USC this year and as long as Mora stays HC they will continue to be better.

Minnesota got the only two selections that really matter, the coaches and AP poll. At that time the rules were that national champions were based on the regular season. Now if you want to use revisionist history and base it on the bowl games, Washington claim is no more a joke than Arkansas or Ole Miss.
Washington won the Rose Bowl against the National Champions Minnesota. That year Ole Miss didn't beat a ranked SEC team. They only played two SEC teams that finished with winning records (Tennessee and LSU) and they only won one of those two games.
The NCAA doesn't recognize a FBS national champion. "While the NCAA has never officially endorsed a championship team, it has documented the choices of several selectors in the official NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Records."
If your school claims a national title the NCAA will list if if it comes from:
