How do the illegals get from Central America to the US border?

I believe the distance is about 2000 miles. I haven't seen anything about how they get to the border. They certainly aren't walking. Do they have the money to ride a bus? Does Mexico even a have a train that runs the length of the country? Are Mexican coyotes taking all of a families' money to transport ... or requiring other forms of payment? What is Mexico's part in this movement of Central Americans across their country?
I would appreciate someone pointing me to a credible source that covers this.

They ride on the top of trains.

Getting into Mexico via the southern border is not difficult..it's porous. However, how they manage the distance on the trek thru Mexico is a mystery. If they are paying cayotes then where are they getting the money since they are supposed to be victims of extreme poverty.

And they're usually trying to avoid these guys:

For many of the kids they are getting the money from parents who are already here, who've been working and saving for it.

I too am wondering how these families are coming up with $2000-$4000 if this is an emergency situation. Did they just happen to have that kind of money lying around? Most American families don't have an extra couple of thousand just sitting there.
The whole thing seems odd, especially the timing. So, immigration talks break down and SUDDENLY there is this huge humanitarian crisis at the border causing us to do something?
I was all for immigration reform for the 12 million illegal aliens who were ALREADY HERE. I am not wanting tens of thousands more to enter in.
This is why Republicans do not want to deal with Democrats on this. They KNOW that they are being lied to and taken for a ride.

The Mexican government busses them through.

So, 100,000 Central Americans living in the US saving money all decided to mail it to their relatives at the same time? Really?

This is actually a great point I haven't seen before. Nothing is free and there is no possible way that those kids walked 2,000+ miles. I think with the admin supposedly initiating some entity to run different types of ads/flyers throughout Central America claiming "if you come to the US border you won't be turned away" leads me believe that the US is somehow coordinating their passage through Mexico. I could also solely be the Cartels coordinating this because it obviously overwhelms the border patrol which allows them to smuggle drugs and weapons more freely or it could be a coordination by both the cartels and the US. It's a win-win! The Dems get future voters and the cartels get to move product!
Forward!!!!!!!!

I never said all of them, but for those paying coyotes it is the most likely source of money.

Looks like those ACORN people got a gig.

I was wondering this as well.
Seems odd this came out of nowhere, but by the same token something on a scale this large would be nearly impossible to cover up in this day and age of information.

And the Mezicans just wave as they pass by?
Kids by themselves or groups with a coyote?
The denial is strong with you.

Yes...or they shake them down...or rape them or murder them.

This thread from a few days ago addresses this and has some links:

A lot of money is being made (legally & illegally) in transporting illegals to the U.S. border.

The President and his administration encouraging this activity by not enforcing the current laws and securing the border. Remember when Napalitano declared the border secure? Secure means it keeps people out. Oh and they don't deport anyone except the lowest form of criminal illegals. The whole ID to vote Shtick is part of the process as well.
