they're not fricking men anyway
the feminists (or feminist-influenced) that you need to be worried about are the fembots that truly believe that if a girl regrets having (consentual) sex with a man after the fact, that it's rape
this is not the example used in will's argument, or the "she was so drunk she couldn't resist" example either. hell it's not even the "she was drunk and agreed, but was drunk" example. this is 100% valid consent...at the time.

Kinda like Democrats apply the idea that all women who get raped deserve it to all Republicans.
not a democrat, but... there's a difference between generalizing a somewhat common, misogynistic idea held by millions and one held by a handful, only on the internet
jus sayin

Consider...
versus George Will's own words...
You think he was talking about overpriced textbooks, instead?
Get lost.

There is nothing mentioned of rape in the passage. So frick your shitty post.

Consider the supposed campus epidemic of rape, a.k.a. “sexual assault.”

when you say " a somewhat common, misogynistic idea" you're just applying a small set of examples to a large group
...just like they are with the radical fembots who beleive all PIV sex is rape
same thing

Agreed.
The fact that a man can have his life ruined over consensual sex is disgusting. I'm not getting into this one though. I'll let y'all fight Rex over it.

When he ended up falling asleep on her bed, she changed into pajamas and climbed in next to him. Soon, he was putting his arm around her and taking off her clothes. ‘I basically said, “No, I don’t want to have sex with you.” And then he said, “OK, that’s fine” and stopped. .?.?. And then he started again a few minutes later, taking off my panties, taking off his boxers. I just kind of laid there and didn’t do anything — I had already said no. I was just tired and wanted to go to bed. I let him finish. I pulled my panties back on and went to sleep.’”
Six weeks later, the woman reported that she had been raped.

well
first, not all "sexual assault" is equal
second, there are no clear rules, and the major problem is that the decision of impropriety is decided by one person (who can lie)
and this is from a man who has been "raped" before

What "special privileges" did she receive?

quote:No, he's talking about the lies that sick fricks like you tell. If you'd actually read the next few sentences, he debunks by using simple arithmetic the fuzzy math that tells women that 25% of women are victims of sexual assault (by the way, not all sexual assault victims are rape victims, you liar)

quote:You are a liar, and your lies trivialize the suffering of victims of rape. This is the kind of thing that complete assholes do when they place too much importance on their political beliefs.
The statistics are: One in five women is sexually assaulted while in college, and only 12 percent of assaults are reported. Simple arithmetic demonstrates that if the 12 percent reporting rate is correct, the 20 percent assault rate is preposterous. Mark Perry of the American Enterprise Institute notes, for example, that in the four years 2009 to 2012 there were 98 reported sexual assaults at Ohio State. That would be 12 percent of 817 total out of a female student population of approximately 28,000, for a sexual assault rate of approximately 2.9 percent — too high but nowhere near 20?percent.

i love how conservatives/males love to focus on the threat of being falsely accused (which is VERY rare) and not on the fact that the majority of rapes go unreported or unprosecuted
Posted on 7/5/14 at 12:23 pm to Rex
quote:
What "special privileges" did she receive?
the ability to say a man raped her after giving 100% free consent to the sex at the time
men don't have that privilege
again, i say this as a man who has bee raped before

You just made that up. Give me a link to the poll that says millions of people believe all rape victims deserve it.

i have a friend who is going through it right now and have represented 4 males who have been falsely accused of sex crimes in my career

who is saying that non-reporting of ACTUAL rape is a good thing? it's not being discussed of focused on b/c it's agreed upon by conservative/males. we are discussing a problem that is perceived differently by different groups, and therefore is worthy of discussion

There's already been a thread here disproving George Will's erroneous self-serving math. What was missing from that particular thread was mention of the salvo George Will had fire at rape victims.

You made that up too.
