It's not bad. There's a really great Lebanese restaurant right near Southern Miss that has the best grape leaves I've ever had from a restaurant.
Yes! Petra's. Favorite place to eat in Hattiesburg.
To the poster who asked about Mugshots: The original place burned down, but they've since relocated in front of Grand Cinema. Best burger in town.

What did you get to see in NWA?

I find it laughable that some of yall think LA is that much better than MS or AR

Ha, I believe you. It's funny and random how you said that Hattiesberg is not that bad of a place then brought up how really good a Lebanese Restaurant was.

Natchez probably has way more LSU fans than any Mississippi school.

I lived in LR for six years and enjoyed it quite a bit. Coming from places like L.A., S.F. and Chicago, I found LR to be a nice, peaceful little town with a low cost of living and an unhurried pace of life. I'd be glad to retire there.

They are both nice. I could live in the Mountains of Arkansas or on the beach in Mississippi. It's not that difficult to see that they are very nice places

Have you been to South Louisiana? Have you been to the non-tourist parts of New Orleans? Have you ever spent time in Lafayette? Have you been to Houma's House, Nottoway, or Oak Alley? Have you ever taken a stroll around Audubon Park, took a nap in the city park oaks, or rolled down the Indian Mounds? Have you ever eaten the food? Had boudin, eaten at cafe des amis, grabbed a po'boy at parkway, sat down for dinner at Commander's? Have you ever felt the tranquility of the swamp, the smell of the marsh, the salty breath of the sea? Have you ever ridden out to the middle of the Causeway, looking out only to see water and blue sky in every direction? Have you ever spent a Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium? Primetime in the Dome?
No? then STFU.

It's an interesting place ... for about 12 hours max.

Hattiesburg has a good amount of LSU fans too

Natchez cool
What is cool about Natchez that you could live there?
As someone who has lived in Vicksburg (set up almost exactly like Natchez) It is cool to visit there and see all the old homes and the civil war stuff. However, if you live there and have seen it a billion times, you will have nothing else to do because there is nothing to do there. People have to drive to Jackson to do anything.

The topography of the city and it's unique architecture.

This thread is strange. If you didn't know this already (besides the Gulf and NW Arkansas), LA, MS, and AR are the same exact thing
Do you really think there's any difference between Camden, Monroe, Vicksburg, Eudora, Ruston, Greenville, etc??

I could easily live in Arkansas, might be a little uncomfortable with all the over the top Razorback fans. Mississippi gulf coast would be aight.
