Stressing about the first test in MADM 752 (Knotts). I've read on here that they used to be brutal, but it seems that the course format has changed since then. Any recent feedback? Between the videos, articles, and many pages of reading, I'm not sure where to focus or what strategy to take. This is my first session and I'm trying to see how everything works.

Just FYI I emailed my section coach today to ask what she is looking for on length. She replied quickly and said “longer is not better if that’s the essence of your question, just answer within the targeted replies.”
So mine is roughly a page and I’m going to turn that in and see how it goes.

Glinda,
I think this is going to be a challenge then, as mine essentially said... one or two sentences won't cut the depth and breadth they're looking for and to "support the answer".
So in regards to length of response, it appears the answer will be... depends on your coach. Better to email if you want a definite answer.

No need to stress. Each course is different in the approach to take. I am in the same class with you and I am taking the approach of just working her checklist. Just go down the list and you should be fine.

I’d agree with that statement though— one or two sentences doesn’t really fall within the paragraph requirement. I imagine they don’t want everyone to write 2-3 pages but if someone is staring at less than half a page they should probably add some substance.

Does anyone know how the quizzes are in MADM 725?

Has anyone taken HCAD 750 with Gherfal? If so, can you recommend some decent external sources for his written assignments? It would be a great help!
Great question! I'm in the same boat/class.

@geauxUF - 20 points, not 20 questions. I took the first quiz today and it was five questions

how are you guys choosing your company to study?
just top 500 places that have lots of data around?
or local?
or off the wall
Your own workplace?

Splitting up the work on the slides among the team during the week and compiling the slides into one document. Then meet via Zoom to review the finished product, rehearse the presentation, and record the presentation.
So how many times a week are you meeting? once? twice?

@jvanmol - I too am wondering what the MADM725 quiz is like. Let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same.

Happy New Term everyone. It's my final stretch until graduation!
In Meeks (MADM760) with several of you all. I consider myself lucky (knocks on wood) because my team was all responsive by Tuesday Morning and we had our first Zoom meeting Wednesday night. Had no issues deciding on a meeting day/time and everyone is responsive in our group chat and discussion board. I stayed with Meeks because I didn't want another discussion post and (2) replies class. I am enjoying the interaction with my classmates in real time.
Also in MADM720 with Williams. The Leadership Portfolio is daunting but the material will be interesting.
Overall I am relatively calm out of the gate this term. I guess because I know THIS.IS.IT.!

Anyone take McLaughlin’s first exam yet? What was it like?

I have a question about registering for the Spring sessions. Do you register for AP1 and AP2 at the same time? Or do you do AP2 at a later date?

Register for both AP1 and AP2 at the same time.
