fitting tires/rims on my truck, advice?

Wasn't sure where to post this but I figured you all on the OB would be the most knowledgeable.
Truck:
2007 New body style Chevy Silverado
Crew cab
LT 20" chevy rims and P275/55/R20 Dueler H/L alenza tires with decent amount of tread left
Leveling kit:
2.5" rough country leveling kit
(Higher than normal leveling kit, has spacers added to top and bottom on front and blocks in the back)
Kit says it fits up to 285/70r17
Tire/Rims I wtb:
17x9 ballistic Havoc wheels
-12 offset (is this a good/bad offset?)
285/70R17 Goodyear Wrangler M/t tires
Will all this fit/not rub without triming or cutting?
Also what will I need to do after the install (besides alignment)?
Thoughts:
will I need to recalibrate my speedo, is this expensive?
will I need tire pressure sensors added? How can I tell if my truck has them now?
Also, anyone have any idea on how much I could sell my current set of rims/tires for?
Thanks ahead of time for any answers you can provide me with.

This will fit with ease, if any trimming is required it would be minimum and you could do it with a razor knife. I've never recalibrated my speedos. Download a gps speedo app and check your difference, from then on you will know how fast you are going.

Thanks for the feed back, just thinking about it now I have a gps that displays my speed so shouldnt be a problem
Anyone have ideas for pricing on that set of wheels/tires?

You can get pretty good deals on rims and tires on eBay. They show up mounted and balanced ready to go.

I'll buy your rims for $500 haha

If those were just black, they would probably be ok.
Those wheels will make your truck look like a methmobile

did you install this kit yourself? have you noticed a difference in your ride quality?

What's the best leveling kit to get?
Posted on 6/18/14 at 8:34 am to Lil Man
I haven't put the kit in myself, I'm getting it professionally done. I will say it costs a good bit more than getting the regular 2" leveling kit installed. Also, a shop I spoke to today suggested getting the new upper control arms for alignment, but I am not sure how necessary this is. As for the ride quality, RC says you will keep the same ride quality, but I have not gotten the lift/level put on yet so I cannot provide any feed back on that.
Anyone know about the control arms whether i really need them or not?

I ran a 2.5 leveling kit with lift blocks on the rear in my NBS 2007 Sierra. Put a 3" zone body lift and ran 35" tires. I did this just after 36K and ran it like that until I traded it in with 150K on it. Never had an issue. IF your alignment is that far out of spec, napa sells adjustment kits to correct alignment issues. You already have ALOT of adjustment in your factory upper control arms. I probably would not replace them unless the bushings are worn out..

I had a 2.5" lift on my f-150 w 3" rear blocks and ran 34's or some shite, dont remember exact size. Dropped my mpg by 5-6, went from 19mpg to 13. Pulling my boat...8mpg. I wouldnt do it again, but to each their own

Thanks TexasTiger, this is what i was looking for. I am going to keep my factory upper control arms.
And as far as gas mileage goes, all the reviews I've read about JUST having the 2.5" leveling kit installed (not adding 3"+ on top of it), most people said they detected a negligible drop in gas millage.
Anyone have any idea about the tire pressure monitors and whether I need them not? Or about how much my current wheels/tires are worth?

I have ran MANY lifted trucks, I would expect a 1-2 MPG loss with the setup you are going to.
I have always ditched the TPMS. The light stays on, but screw it.....
