Any fan of an NBA team would love for 2 championships in 4 years.

So it would be a success IMO.

Not at all. Now if the new CBA didn't exist then I would say it was.

Not a failure but I think it's below what they expected.

People calling this a failure needs to take a look at the Nets and Knicks who had higher payrolls than the Heat.

Its not like they were the first and only superteam. Theres been plenty before them. They were just the first to do it through free agency. The Lakers with Magic Kareem and James Worthy only went back to back once ~.500 in finals appearances together. The Celtics big 3 only one one. The lakers with shaq, kobe, payton and malone got beat by the pistons.

Did they not meet their own stated expectations-sure. However going to four straight finals and winning 2 is certainly not a failure.

A resounding success. I don't care about the "not 2, not 3..." part. I don't think anybody was deluded or thought LeBron thought he was going to win 8 in a row.

4 straight trips to the Finals, 2 wins. I think anybody takes that deal.

Pretty successful if you ask me. Two championships is a pretty big deal, no matter if you like LeGOAT or not.

From a monetary perspective, I bet Miami isn't too peeved. The amount of merchandise and ticket sales they've made off this team probably more than made up for what they cost to get them together.

50% in the NBA with a bought team, isn't that impressive.

It was both a success and a failure.

The Heat won 2 titles. So they were obviously successful.

But they failed because, in their hubris, Lebron, Wade, and Bosh raised expectations to huge levels.

Success.... Winning a championship is hard, Lakers tried to stack their team and failed with Malone and Payton

If you think winning 2 titles in 4 years much less going to the finals 100% of the time is a failure then you are out of your God damn mind.

Sure it's not as successful as it could have been but by no means is it failure.
