Amazing what it takes to operate at that high of a level. Maybe just burnout, hope it isnt worse.

Dang. I've been wanting to go there. I thought it was supposed to be one of the better places downtown.

We can only hope that the space will be filled soon, with a mini Walk-Ons.

Nicest meal I've ever had. I had a great experience there. 7 course was fantastic.

Just ate there last month and had an incredible meal. This isn't good news.

I do know first hand that Stanley's was more profitable. But still shocked.

They just wacked the other thread. Never made it. Pissed.

I think BO made some sort of comment. Anyone heard anything?

Really goes to show how hard the Nola market is. I get asked all the time from people outside of the state about how many new restaurants open up. I have to tell them they don't realize how many fail.

I walked by there tonight around 7 p.m. It was weird, because I made a point to look in and see what was going on. There were several guys back in the kitchen and one family dining in the restaurant. Doors were locked and it was obvious that they were shut off to the public... but I kept wondering who that family was. Just a normal looking group of 6... waiting on the whole kitchen to fix their meal.

That's some prime real estate. It'll be interesting to see what becomes of it. I never ate there, but everyone I talked to who did absolutely loved it.

I was just wondering days ago why there had not been any mention of Stella in many months on this board. I never made it there. Sad.

I went once, before the prix fixe menu. Food was good, but not spectacular, given the difficulty obtaining a rezzie and the price. I expected mind blowing.

Always enjoy Stanley, but am generally hung over and desperate for food.

Think they'll honor my $200 gift card at Stanley?
