12 inches high, with a 2 inch cap. High quality stone. Including a footer and grading, what would be my per foot pricing....4 different walls totaling roughly 100 linear feet.

Maybe $6-8/sf of wall, not really sure, I think that could be a good guess based on brick, stucco etc prices

This guy is quoting me $35 per sq foot. What could his reasoning be for that?

yeah, cheap granite is $35 per square installed at Lowes/HD , but you would also need something to attach it to

Your location can greatly influence the price of this.
For a good estimate call a stone yard and price it out.

I got a similar quote for a retaining wall. Is that what you're wanting?
