Had an interesting convo with 1 of my buddies the other night... Is Danny Green the "new" Robert Horry type player for the Spurs? My friend thinks so. Both guys never really averaged that great of a stat line in their careers... but during the playoffs, they turn it up a notch and make big baskets for the Spurs.
I dont think he was really comparing Green to Horry, but thinks he is becoming that type of player for them. As in both guys dont put up crazy #s or stats, yet when its the playofffs they take it to another level and are deadly from 3 and are clutch.
Thoughts? I dont really agree with him, but I dont necessarily disagree with him because he did have some good points.

I can't wait to see this board burn down when Lebron finishes the 3peat. It'll be glorious.

But then in Game 3 LeBron is going to go bananas with an all timer of a performance to show up all the criticism and hate, he will have had enough, and draw the line, and go off. The storyline will shift to "LeBron single handedly digs his team out of a 2-1 hole after saying he has had enough, puts the team on his back and puts Heat back in the series" it will be one of those games that define his legacy.
Are you insinuating that the league/refs can determine when Lebron dumps a load on his opponents? Oh my God..
At the very most they can only give him a small push in the right direction. No, frick that. What's he gonna have....45 points in 26 free throw attempts? They have a very small hand in how well he or anyone else plays. If he had a great game it's because he's great. If he had a shite game, it's because he was shite that night.
