Right. That's what I think is interesting about it. If he pans out as we expect then it is genius and they are getting a bargain on him.
It's a nice little gamble that has great upside.

And very little downside. Singleton has a chance to make $35 million and hit FA when he's 30 and still get a nice payday if he's having a good career. If he never pans out, he walks away the game with $10 million.
