True or False: If Spurs make Finals, they would rather play Heat?

Not giving up on OKC, but what say you about the question?
I would say "true". Pacers may be the only elite team in the NBA that are as deep as the Spurs. They're also very good defensively at all positions.
Spurs matchup better with Heat IMO.

False
They would destroy Indy
ETA: No team would rather play the Heat.

Only one of the teams in the East has the best player on the planet. You don't want to play him. The other team is bipolar. You want to play them.

Personally don't know if it matters. The Spurs have been the best team for a lot of the season, and they have done a great job managing their starter minutes. They keep Duncan and Ginobli below 30 minutes often, and let Leonard/Parker carry the load a lot of the middle portions of games

Yeah, that's pretty much it. SA is the most poised team in the league. It would be a bad matchup for the Pacers.

False, one of these teams will not make the Finals

If Hibbert and Stephenson played to their abilities vs Spurs, it could be very interesting matchup.

Elite doesn't take sub-par ATL to 7 nor shite the bed during the playoffs. I do agree that the Spurs are a better matchup, especially considering Ibaka's injury. Plus, Spurs want a piece of Los Heat for payback so Duncan can ride off into the sunset.

False.
I think zero teams would chose to play the Heat over the Pacers. Lebron is that much of a problem.

Spurs are the best "team" but they also were last year. I dont think anyone wants go play the team with best player in the nba. Spurs experience would sweep the pacers

I agree with this, but think Leonard's development would allow him to at least play with LBJ for much of the game. Obviously LBJ would get his, but Leonard is a young strong kid with somewhat comparable size.
The Heat just look disinterested/old this post season. Yes they are 8-2, but they played 2 teams who had their best big man out, which is something that has caused Miami big problems in the past

They sweep or beat Indy in 5.
Heat series is a toss up.

is this some type of werid reverse jinx?

The only argument I could make for the Spurs wanting to play the Heat is revenge. They probably want a shot at redemption after last year's game 6.

No way. When you're bringing Scola and Turner off the bench nightly, you have bench issues.
The Heat are vulnerable, but the best player in the world still suits up for them. No thanks.
The Spurs would want the Pacers. The Pacers have no one on offense that really scares them. They could watch what longtime Spurs assistant Mike Budenholzer did on offense v Indy and figure out a way to score.

As Bob Voulgaris said around the 2nd round of the playoffs at the time, he's the worst rotation player left in the playoffs.
