Tried using online tools. They lead me toward hickory or elm, but I'm not so sure. Asking for the OB's thoughts:

Orange/purple flaky bark? I can't see on my phone, but that looks like Chinese elm to me. Very common ornamental

Definitely some orange. Not really purple; deep grey in parts. I've found some pictures and chinese elm looks right. The online tools were taking me to american elm which just didn't look right because the branches of the chinese droop some.

Chinese elm has smaller leaves and those rounded lobes on the leaves. American elm has bigger leaves with points on the ends. Putting them side-by-side, you'd easily be able to tell the difference

When we first moved here in 2011, it was only about 8 feet tall. And in 2012, Isaac was enough to tilt it some, and I never got around to getting it straight again. It has skyrocketed since then to about 15 ft. with some branches starting to hit the roof.
I need to get info on how and when to get it fully upright again.

My Drake is not turning out like that, and I'm bummed. It's looking more like one of the kind that grows high and has vine-like limbs. Those suck. Yours is awesome.

Thats a good looking elm. I'm thinking about planting something like this in my front yard, especially if it grows that fast.
