The questions were too cut and dry. I don't want housing vouchers or government run housing.

I believe it asked if vouchers would be better, which I tend to think they would, even if I'd prefer not to have either.

People who score a 160 are full of crap. They'd be the first looking for some sort of govt when they realize they don't have the skills to survive in their fantasy world.

Because there were so many utopic, thriving "civilizations" without states, currency, banking, regulation, etc.
I'm all for making it as minimal, efficient and responsive as possible. But to pretend we don't need any government at all is fantasy, as you suggest, Jake.

You're totally right. I actually love government, I just pretend that I don't. frick markets!

With the exception of states, none of these would be absent in an ancap society.

Your response is thoughtless foolishness as is your scoring a 160.
I'm sure privatization of the police and courts is a great idea and would be a huge improvement.

It's just as foolish as your remark that those with my disposition would be the first to seek government help.

I am pretty sure of this. Markets work for everything else, I'm not sure why everyone thinks a monopoly suddenly works for certain services.

Doubt it if you will, but I took several secret IQ tests when I was a military brat, and when I went to college, several of my professors realized I was more qualified to teach the courses than they were.
I miss otto.

You have to live in a dorm room if you answered yes to any of that last section.
Privatize courts? Privatize the law? Disband military? Vigilante justice? Sweet Jesus!
I don't even know what to say about that. Mindless idiocy.

The vigilante justice is the only one I would find questionable.
There is plenty of literature (made by old Jews and not college-goers) on why privatization of government monopolies would be preferable.

It's interesting that people (making 160s) live in THE most successful state on earth...perhaps in the history of the world. Fantasy land, indeed.

I do not see any incongruency. I attribute our standard of living and success to the history of mostly free markets, not to any kind of state benevolence.

Also, federalism/local rule is blurred with references to zoning and rent control and such.

Who cares. There's literature on all sorts of shite. Most of us live in the real world.
Privatize the law? Courts? I can't imaging anything going wrong there.

If the courts are perceived as being run by ideologues, maybe privitizing them might make them more accountable than they seem at the moment. Just playing devil's advocate.

If the Prez and his AG won't enforce the laws passed by Congress, what's another alternative?
Obama and Holder are crossing the Rubicon.

I can imagine plenty going wrong. But with a monopoly, it's guaranteed.
I'm not going to change anyone's mind on here - I know this. I'm fine being labeled crazy, kooky, out-of-touch, etc.,
I don't think that my political disposition will ever be widely held - at least not by proselytization. I'm more concerned with creating/supporting services that undermine government, and when it becomes more efficient and cheaper to use a private service, then I won't have to piss in the wind anymore.

I admire your spirit. I really do. I firmly believe we have too much government in this country. But I also think libertarians (generally) go a bit overboard.
I think if you spent time here, you might grade out a little differently.
